SSM- Silent Sustained Make-up
Target: Students will evaluate their grades and determine which missing assignments in their classes would most drastically improve their grades. Students will then work on one missing assignment in class without talking. Every student will have a progress report type conversation with the elective teacher.

Target: Analysis and Inquiry questions will be presented in small groups where tutors can help students find solutions to their questions.

Target: Team building by developing a common identity. Teams will work on a t-shirt design and be ready to present it on Friday. The design should incorporate the team concept and focus on promoting AVID.

Target: Students will collect information on potential colleges and examine the differences each have for minimum requirements for acceptance.

Binder Check #3 Tutors Grade
Target: Students will collaborate and write about their experience at the National College Fair. A debrief of both the PSAT and the National College Fair will lead the discussion about college readiness.

Target: Students will evaluate their performance in the first eight weeks of school. During the evaluation process students will address two areas of positive achievement and two areas of negative performance. Students will write smart goals with the intent of changing their negative academic performances.
