Target: Accessibility to grades and student interaction are two of the greatest factors that can determine student success. Students will work quietly on developing inquiry questions, while the data processor registers them individually for (HAC) Home Access Center. This will allow all student the chance to have up to date information about their grades.

Target: Analysis and Inquiry questions will be presented in small groups where tutors can help students find solutions.
12-9-09
Target: Public speaking and confidence in front of a group does not come without practice. Students will choose ten topics from a list and then place them in our "Lucky" green hat. Randomly students will choose a topic from the hat and give a one minute impromptu speech. Observing students will be looking for the following.
- Eye Contact
- Continuity
- Volume
- Enunciation
- Captivation

2. Brief assessment of student awareness re: Career Pathways
3. Single career choice exploration
a. laptop/worksheet distribution
b. students pair up based on 1st Career Pathway choice
c. pair chooses a single occupation in chosen Pathway that they would like to explore for this unit d. Introduction to "Occupational Outlook Handbook" (online version)
e. students complete worksheet (as a pair) for chosen occupation
4. Conclusion/brief. intro. to final lesson (extra credit if you dress up like your chosen occupation!)/questions?
