Target: Students will look at an example portfolio to see how their portfolio compares. Specifically students should look at the letter of introduction and the reading reflections so they can begin the process of preparing their portfolio for evaluation.

Portfolio Evaluation- Students will use the senior board evaluation form to evaluate their portfolios. The idea is to create urgency for students to begin the process of completing incomplete activities.

Target: Goal setting for the next year. "New Years Resolutions" Students will work on three realistic New Years Resolutions. The resolutions should include one resolution from their academic goals, one from their professional goals and one from their personal life. All resolutions will be read aloud.

Off Beat College Essays-Students will review off beat essays from college applications. As an on demand write students will choose one and write a brief essay. This activity will focus on preparing students for the on demand write that take place at the end of the first semester.
