Students will be working on a timed write about perseverance. The following rubric will be used to evaluate speeches on perseverance. Students will work for 100 minutes on a timed write speech that will be presented to the class on Monday May 16, 2011.

Write a speech for a school assembly about the meaning of perseverance as it applies to personal success.
